During my recent city trip to Arica, I had the pleasure of staying at Doña Francisca, a cozy retreat nestled just a short drive from Chinchorro Beach. The location is ideal for daily explorations of the area, and I found the vibe of the neighborhood to be inviting and safe, with plenty of dining options nearby. While I do appreciate a good breakfast spread, I did find the lack of breakfast options a bit surprising—only black coffee was offered. The rooms were impeccably clean and offered a comfortable space to unwind after a day of adventure. What truly stood out for me was the warm hospitality of the host, who was fluent in English and provided invaluable tips for navigating the area. For a culinary enthusiast like me, it was a blessing to have such local insights that enhanced my experience.
